I've recently run into a screen formatting problem using the shell libraries for Aztec C65. Specifically, my //e (I don't know if this applies to //'s and //+'s) can control the location of the scrollable window by poking into memory locations 34&35. This does not seem to be supported by the kb_ctl command which duplicates the Apple calls to clear the screen or clear a line or home the cursor, etc. If I directly change the memory locations 34&35 in a C program by assigning appropriate values to a pointer, the assignment works but the shell immediately changes the values back to the defaults. This problem does not occur if I'm working with stand-alone libraries so the shell must be the culprit. Does anyone know how to get around this problem or have a copy of the shell source code?
