[net.micro.apple] info on Aurora Systems wanted

geoff@burl.UUCP (geoff) (04/03/85)

As I mentioned in an earlier posting, I am trying to locate an assembly
language debugger for my Apple IIe. I did receive one response (from
Patrick Hsieh -- thanks) which mentioned a 6502 debugger from Aurora
Systems called Quicktrace (I am not exactly sure of the company name).
I would appreciate any information on either this company (like
an address, reputation, etc) or the debugger? The description Pat gave
made Quicktrace sound VERY attractive (fancy breakpointing, continuous
screen updates of several registers and memory loacations, etc).

There are at least two ther ML debuggers I know of. One is callded
BUGBYTER, and I understand it is available on APPLE's DOS Toolkit
Disk, along with their EDASM assembler, font gen, etc.

Another is MUNCH-A-BUG, by Roger Wagner Publishing, PO Box 582,
Santee, CA 92071, (619)562-3670. It lists at $40, but I just ordered
it from Northeastern Software for $25. This has the same features
mentioned in the previous posting above.
