I want to communicate with a UNIX 4.2 BSD system using my Apple II+. I am told that Kermit-65 is my best bet for this, but that it is better to get a copy on disk rather than try to download it. If anyone can help me obtain Kermit-65 for the Apple on disk I would appreciate it very much. I would be happy to send a blank disk. (I am assuming that this software is PD.) Thanks!

I am also looking for a copy of Kermit for the Apple II on disk.
If anyone has a copy they could send me, I would be happy to pay them
any handling fee they deem appropriate.

I'd also like a copy. Also willing to pay for postage & handling and diskette costs incurred. Nate LeSane 4207 W. Angela Dr. Glendale, Az. 85308

As far as I know the current version (2.1A) of Kermit
for the Apple is buggy. It does not do 8 bit quoting
correctly and characters are lost (& signs). It does however works
when 8 bit quoting mode is off. (for text files, I did not try
Binary files.) There is a fix, but I don't know when the next
release will be. (I have it, but you need the source and cross.exe
to use it.)
