[net.micro.apple] Newsroom and Epson-compatible printers

I recently purchased "Newsroom" from Springboard Software, and have found it
to be an excellent program. It main purpose in life is to produce newsletters,
which it does with a minimum of hassle and a great deal of professionalism.
The programmers have done an excellent job of making the program (of course
this is relatively) error-free (it has yet to do anything unexpected to me),
and quite the contrary, goes out of it's way to save you from stupid mistakes.
It prints an excellent quality copy and the tools included do the job better
than the package advertises. I recommend this package to anyone who has an
interest in printed copy or doing a small newsletter production.
The only difficulty I had was when first attempting to print, was setting
up the configuration. There are a multitude of choices on the set-up menu,
but none specified exactly my system, which is an Apple ][+ w/64k, a
Practical Peripherals GraphiCard (which was the stumb and a Riteman Inforunner printer (Epson-like).
Despite there being some 30-odd choices, my GraphiCard wasn't there. After much
trial and error, as the local dealer couldn't help me, I found that the proper
set-up for my system is as follows:

Epson FX-80
Firmware Protocol 1.0
Slot one

I hope this helps anyone having problems trying to get this excellent program
up and running.
