I previously posted this request to net.games, but got little response, so I am posting it here. I have been attempting to solve Adventure International's "Savage Island" adventure for some time now, but I need some pointers to complete it. *** WARNING -- spoilers follow -- hit spacebar at your own risk *** I have managed to weather the storm out (no pun intended :-), given salt to the bear, and collected: Knife - Plastic Block | Coconut |- How can these be used? Bottle of Rum | Fish Bones - Building the raft, I sailed to the atoll, met the pirate, and received a bandanna and a note. I am currently in the cave with the painting and the stalactite, but cannot get anything to happen. How can I get some light to enter the "dark openings" without breaking my neck? I assume the stalactite opens, since it is hinged at the top. How can I make this happen?
