I have a friend who needs help using PIE with his NEC PC8023A-C printer. He cannot figure out how to pass control codes to the printer from PIE. He is a novice user and I don't really want to learn PIE and all about a NEC to figure this out. He HAS talked to NEC and PIE people and to the people from whom he bought the printer, but they have not helped him. Any information about how to modify PIE (if such is possible) for the NEC or pointers to such information would be greatly appreciated.
