Is anyone aware of a wordprocessor running under the Apple Pascal system? . ihnp4\!harpo\!bob

My poor disk ][ drive lost its write-protect sense the same way two years ago, and I didn't mean to do it. Just fell out when it got too strained, I supposed. Anyway, just string in a SPST switch through the line where the microswitch used to be hooked up, (after disconnecting the now useless microswitch) and you'll find that when connected, your drive will be able to write, and vice versa when the line is open. String the wires out through the back cover of the drive on top of the ribbon cable. I've been working with this arrangement for a while, and I like it better than the old way. One can write all over disks with no write- protect notches, and one can switch on the write-protect switch for a feeling of security.

There are two word processors that might meet your current needs. The first is MEGAWRITER by MegaCorp. It works not only in Pascal but all of its commands are exactly those of Apple Pascal. The other is a little harder to get your hands on. It is type in yourself that was published in an series of issues from Nibble! magazine, about two years ago. I have most of the program but am missing one entry. Check around on the net. Leonard Rosenthol uiucuxa.ldr292 ...On a clear disk you can seek forever ....
