[net.micro.apple] Apple 80-Column Card

dr@ski.UUCP (David Robins) (09/27/85)

I have a problem with the Apple 80-column card, which I've been using
for some time. This is the regular Apple extneded 80-cloumn card in
the auxiliary slot on an Apple //e, recently enhanced.

In order to display data under a page 1 hi-res graph more clearly, the
headers are in normal, and the data is in inverse. (This is in a BASIC
program.)

When the inverse is over, the next blank line prints as an inverse
line, even if I precede the line with an explicit NORMAL statement.
The next blank line prints normally. If the next line after the data
is an input statement, the blank rest of the line after the input is
inverse also.

There is no problem of this type doing it in 40-columns, with the
80-col card turned off. In addition, there seems to be no reference to
this problem in the 80-col manual.

Does anyone out there have any understanding of why this is happening?
Please send me mail.
