Manx has an Aztec C for the Apple. I'm not sure if they have PRODOS support, because I used it a couple of years ago, but they might. I didn't actually use the native Apple II compiler - I used a cross that ran on a PC. I was quite happy with it, as I've been with Manx in general. C is hard to do on a 6502 (it has just a 256 byte stack), but they've done a nearly complete K & R (missing only bit fields, which they may have implemented by now). Their technical support people are always helpful (though the line is always busy). Manx has been advertising their ProDOS flavored C in Byte, but as far as the powers-that-would-know on BIX (Byte Information eXchange) have been able to find out from Manx, it will be shipping Real Soon Now.
