A friend of mine has an Apple ][. He runs SoftTerm as a terminal emulator. What is a good terminal to respond to TERM=? when he logs in. Specifically, what do yoou other Apple users use as a terminal type when you log in off of an Apple? Thanks but please, send replies to... * At least on the Apple II+, the hardware looks like a Datamedia. CP/M 2.2 does a software translation from a Soroc IQ-120 lookalike to the Datamedia control codes. So CP/M looks like a Soroc. Under DOS 3.3, try telling your program that you are a Datamedia, and see if that can be recognized. ************************************************* * Jeff Miller * * Multimate International Corp. * * 52 Oakland Avenue * * East Hartford, CT 06108-9911 * * (203) 522-2116 x257 * * UUCP: * * ...!seismo!utah-cs!utah-gr!pwa-b!mmintl!jeffm * * * * P.S.
