A CW/RTTY/ASCII program, "HAM", has been developed for the APPLE II/e.
"HAM" may be used to receive CW/BAUDOT/ASCII without the use of a 
Terminal Unit (TU) or inhance the features of any TU for both
Transmission and Reception. For the SWL, ham's transmit features are
inhibited. For the licensed amateur, the FCC Callsign is embeded.

		"HAM" features;
* CW - 5-99 WPM, Auto- Speed & Character tracking, speed readout.
* BAUDOT & ASCII - 50 baud to 19.2 Kilobaud.
* Two sets of nine 256 bit programmable message buffers.
* A 1k type-ahead transmit buffer and a 4K recallable receive buffer.
* Multi-window display, top receive-center status-bottom transmit.
* Automatic word wrap-around on receive display window.
* Operator selection of either 40 or 80 column display (w/APPLE Board).
* Operator selection of window allocation on the CRT.
* Displayed clock for time-of-day or elapsed time.
