It will connect through any RS-232C port. The problem is going to be software. The LaserWriter uses PostScript, and there aren't a lot of software packages out for MS-DOS computers that fully take advantage of the LaserWriter capabilities. In addition, you will need a device driver for your serial port that supports XON/XOFF protocol (PC-DOS 3.1 doesn't support it). There's a company in Ann Arbor, MI called TextSet that sells a PC-DOS compatible device driver to provide XON/XOFF support. Now, if I only had the time to productize it and the money to advertise it, I would tell to call me about my Epson to PostScript converter...
