[net.micro.apple] Need TERMINFO for Apple Access

wa6wow@nvuxb.UUCP (P L Miller) (02/28/86)

Does anyone have a TERMINFO for an Apple IIe using the Apple
Access II software. It is supposed to emulate a vt100. The
vt100 TERMINFO works ok on a real vt100 but not on the Apple
emulation. I would also like to know of any documentation which
describes the process of writing TERMINFOs.

What I am looking for is termcaps/terminfo info for a IIe/IIc WITHOUT a
terminal "emulator" as such - a friend is using the firmware within a
Prometheus card to talk to work. It has data capture and transfer
capabilities, but does no emulation; just vanilla Apple.

#
# Apple //e with 80-column card
# The modem interface is permitted to discard LF (maybe DC1), otherwise
# passing characters to the 80-column firmware via COUT (PR#3 assumed).
# Auto-wrap does not work right due to newline scrolling delay, which also
# requires that you set "stty cr2".
# Note: Cursor addressing is only available via the Pascal V1.1 entry,
# not via the BASIC PR#3 hook. All this nonsense can be avoided only by
# using a terminal emulation program instead of the built-in firmware.
