[net.micro.apple] info-apple -> mod.computers.apple2 poll

ralphw@ius2.cs.cmu.edu (Ralph Hyre) (07/09/86)

Every info-<computer> group on the ARPAnet has a mod.computers.*
equivalent group on USENET, except info-apple (it used to be
linked with info-apple, but no more.) I'd like to see it
show up in mod.computers.apple2. (to discourage Mac posts)
While I'm waiting to hear from the list maintainers, please repond to the poll
by mail to me. (I've directed followups to junk to encourage this.)

The question(s):

	1 Would you like to have info-apple gated to mod.computers.apple2?
	2 (if yes to #1) Would you be willing to let net.micro.apple go
          if mod.computers.apple2 existed?

explanation of 2: Apple community fragmented, one group will reduce this.
		  arpa will probably never get net.micro.apple again.

		  No actual moderation goes on at this point,
		  info-apple is a mail reflector.
