In regards to licensing DOS:
In the July issue of Open-Apple, the newsletter by Tom Wieshaar,
there is a list of things that can be licensed from Apple.
DOS 3.3, it says, can be licensed for $50.
This item is unsupported, as Apple no longer acknowleges DOS 3.3 !
ProDOS/BASIC.system/FILER/CONVERT is also $50.
There are other items, too.
You can also get technical documentation of the software not available elsewhere
