A few years ago I bought a used Apple comm card (NOT Super Serial) from my old high school, with intent to attach a modem. I wound up with an internal 300bps modem, but now want to get an external 1200 bps modem, probably Volksmodem 12. I borrowed one from my office and hooked it up with the //e and the comm card, and it worked at 300bps. I don't know how to set it for 1200 bps, though, and would rather not purchase another serial interface. Could someone tell me how to set the baud rate and other things on the card, so I can go and buy the new modem? Try mailing to me, but people seem to have trouble doing that. I believe that the card you are refering to is the old Apple Communications card. It is a short card with a ribbon cable threaded through the end of the board. This is a 300 baud card only. This was one of Apple's first cards for the ][ series. Nat Polish@cs.columbia.edu
