I am interested in purchasing a high-speed modem for my Apple //e enhanced and am seriously looking at the US Robotics 2400 baud modem. I have a Super Serial Card and have heard that such a system will function properly with Ascii Express Terminal Software. If anyone uses a high speed modem of any brand, preferably the USRobotics, please lemme know what your configuration is including the software (which is most important.) Include the pro's and con's of the system if applicable. Thanx in advance.... -- Peter Godwin uucp: ...ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!god3 Univ. of Chicago Comp Ctr mailnet: x9.xpg@UChicago.Mailnet Room 2419, 5824 S. I use the USR Courier 2400 with a //e and Super Serial Card. I have had no Problems. The only other 2400 baud system I have communicated with was also running a Courier 2400, so I can't say how it works with other brands at 2400 baud. It works fine with everything at 1200, too. Some 2400 don't communicate well or at all with some other brands so it is best to try before you buy, iff possible. Rick Fincher ranger@ecsvax >
