A short time ago, someone posted here about a home-made yoke he had for Flight Simulator II. I was interested, because I thought about building one even since I bought FS II. On the inside back cover of the new A+ magazine (Dec. '86), there is an ad from ICON, Inc., for the MAXX. This is a yoke system that attaches to the game port of an IBM, or an Apple II series. There are buttons on top of both arms of the yoke, and a slide-control throttle on the central console. The ad indicates that the user calibrates it to the system upon startup, and that it is usable with jet, Cessna, auto racing, tank, and space flight simulators. The price shown is $129.95. -- ==================================================================== David Robins, M.D. Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Foundation (previously known as: Smith-Kettlewell Institute of Visual Sciences) 2232 Webster St; San Francisco CA 94115 415/561-1705 (voice) {ihnp4,qantel,dual}!ptsfa!ski!dr The opinions expressed herein do not reflect the opinion of the Institute!
