Mike Dolan claims that he is not guilty of the slippery slope fallacy, but it seems that he is. Unless he is willing to say that a fertilised ovum is a person just as a newborn child is. If it is not, then there is the slope. Perhaps he could just clarify: Is a fertilised ovum a person? If yes, he must establish this on something other than "a baby just born is a person, a baby just before birth is a person, .... , and so a foetus is a person!" Because this is a slippery slope argument, and he claims he isnt using one.
