I'm the one who wrote: "[abortion] is an issue ... which only incidentally involves women". Foolish statement, true. However, the spirit of my argument was not to decide the degree of a woman's involvement in abortion, but to argue that net.women was not the right place for abortion discussions. I am not entirely sure, myself, whether or not it is a reasonable topic, but in any case it does not seem entirely fair to snag that sentence out of context and riddle it with bullets.
