As she was leaving, four men grabbed here and repeatedly raped her on top of a pool table for about 2 hours. The patrons of the bar reportedly cheered and applauded. The bartender said that he gave one guy a dime to call the police, but "he dialed a wrong number". The accused rapists were released on 1000 dollars bond, which means that they put up 100 dollars and a bail bond company put up the rest. Some men think a rape is to be applauded. A bartender thinks that a rape is worth 10 cents but not 20 cents. (And why didn't that guy call the operator instead?) And any men there who did think it was bad (if any) didn't care enough to call up the police -- not even her "friend". What a horribly sick society this is.
