The article posted on the net is a week out of date. The information currently available here in Boston follows: Bail: all four (alleged) rapists are now locked up. Bail was raised to 50,000 for three of them; the fourth, 200,000 double surety. This was prompted by one of them purchasing an international air ticket. Bar: The actual owner of Big Dan's Tavern, the wife of Big Dan, voluntarily turned in the bar's license. Later, workmen used chainsaws to remove the bar and pooltable from the tavern and padlocked the doors. The Court: The DA plans to haul the on-lookers before a grand jury. He will probably press charges against any who don't cooperate completely. The probable-cause hearing is being delayed to allow the victim to prepare herself for the ordeal of cross-examination. The People: the YWCA hosted a march last night in New Bedford. 2800 attended the candle-light rally. The Town: the licensing commission is deliberating taking action against the bar. The Charges: current charges are one count each of Rape &c.; in addition, two of the defendants are charged with Unnatural Acts. One could well be charged with attempting to flee from justice. ---sources: Boston Sunday Globe; WBZ Radio News (A Westinghouse Broadcasting Station)---
