I was very surprised the other day to hear one woman say to a man that she was unliberated and liked it that way. She liked staying home with her kids as they grew up, but now that she works as a teacher she does not support most women's ideas on liberation. I am baffled in that it is obvious to me that she is feeling the very good effects that have come about for women because of previous fights for equality, yet does not feel a oneness with the cause or essence for her equality.
