Hip, Hip, HOORAY! and 3 cheers for Sarah Groves, Rob Glaser, and Guy Harris!!! I wholeheartedly support your feelings about the problems of dealing with discrimination against women, and the acceptance that such a situation exists here, today, in this modern world, in America, the so-called LAND OF OPPORTUNITY! I really don't care that Andy doesn't "feel too comfy". His comments always irritate me. He is writes so glibly, and makes thoughtless statements. I wish he (and others like him) would be more tolerant of others. I believe that he does not understand the seriousness of the women's movement; for that matter, I don't believe he takes women very seriously. Perhaps that's from his upbringing, or his schooling, or his ethnic background or culture. Whatever, I wish he'd really try to communicate in a less hostile and more questioning attitude with with everyone and not just on the net.
