Someone said quite awhile ago that the argument should be over legal rights. Every woman when confronted with an unwanted pregnancy has to make her own choice. Outsiders may advise, but the decision rests with her. The question is, should the state be stepping into this process. (I personally believe that the state's responsibility begins exactly at the moment of birth and no sooner. That is, a fetus has no legal rights.) But I would like to ask the following question: Have any of you ever met an adult American who is unsure of their feelings on the above question. Note that I don't mean unsure as to whether they would have an abortion, rather unsure as to whether the state should be protecting supposed rights of the unborn. We all made up our minds a long time ago. So why have this discussion? Let's be honest, none of us is the least bit flexible on this. And riling up netters over abortion seems a big waste of time. I propose a moratorium! - Randy -- Randy Trigg
