Freud was a misoginist twerp. His "What does a woman want?" question is a fine example of his intellect. Any answer general enough to apply to all women would also be general enough to ap- ply to all men. Oh well, what can you expect from a guy who could dream up as idiotic a concept as "penis envy" -entirely missing the obvious, which is that little girls envy male PRIVILEGES, not appendages. With all his studies, Freud never understood a thing about women because he insisted on defining them in his own (masculine) terms instead of really LISTENING to what they were saying. ssc-vax!ginger
