Mr. Templeton, transplant is the "right" word. I wish you had checked my source before informing the world I was wrong. The full reference is "2 Donated Human Embryos Said to Impregnate 2 Women" by Richard D. Lyons in New York Times, Friday, July 22, 1983. As quoted from the article The new technique differs from the "test-tube" method in that sperm from the prospective father is first placed in the uterus of the woman who donates her ovum. Then in the first week of her pregnancy, the resulting tiny embryo,..., is flushed out of her womb and transferred to the womb of the woman who will carry the baby to full term... This method is "in vivo." If I did use the wrong word it was the word "fetus." I used fetus since many people refer to an embryo as fetus and I did not want to introduce new terminology to the net. Larry Welsch I believe the questions I raised are still relevant but there are more questions this technique raises.
