Sigmund Freud, that giant of modern psychology, felt that among other things clitoral orgasm was an indication of immaturity. REAL women had vaginal orgasms. Perhaps his guidance had something to do with the bizarre practice of clitorodectomy lasting until the late forties in this country. Let's try that one again, Roy. My dictionary does not list the word 'clitorodectomy'. Is this really a word? What is the exact meaning of this?

My dictionary does not list the word 'clitorodectomy'. Is this really a word? What is the exact meaning of this? Look it up in a medical dictionary; pronunciation emphasis in on the first syllable. It means to (surgically) remove a clitoris. The result is to deprive a female of her ability to have clitoral orgasms. Something akin to having the tip of your penis cut off. ssc-vax!ginger
