[net.women] groups for men.

Don is off here. There are plenty of men-only organizations,
and I am not thinking only of exclusive clubs. Men's support groups,
discussion groups, etc. are not uncommon, and are a good thing.
Now, if you are talking about equality under the law, having
special interest groups pressing for equal pay for males
and so on, that is different. Equal pay for males means
less pay for males, and so you are really saying you are a
feminist. Join NOW, they have plenty of men members (me included).

The problem with the private clubs and stuff is that they
have become defacto locations for business, so excluding women
from the club amounts to excluding them from pursuing a living.
That is bad, not that men cannot enjoy one another's exclusive company
once in a while.
