I'd like to start with two facts: 1) White males are *not* the highest paid group per capita in the US. (Asian-Americans are - look it up if you don't believe me. Of course this is completely irrelevant.) 2) net.singles is not read/submitted to by *only* singles. In fact, for a while it was dominated by married people and similar arguments took place there. There is no way of segregating newsgroups by sex so why argue about it? If there are issues women on the net want to discuss, submit an article. I don't think the problem is having men use net.women, the problem is not enough women do. The net is a public forum for ideas, and perhaps some women are a little intimidated by the lexical pugilism that sometimes develops. It's nothing women can't handle. Laura Creighton dukes it out with the best of them. Just like in the real world, you can't wait for things to be handed to you, you have to go out and grab them.
