[net.women] I am a himman

If we use himman, do we also have to call females "herman"??

stephen@alberta (09/16/83)

How about returning MAN to its gender-generic roots and using a
work like HIMAN to specify an explicitly male man. I have a much
easier time adding one word to my vocabulary than I do changing
hundreds of others.

Besides -- MAN is one one syllable and PERSON is two (BOY am I
LAZY).
