I believe women cut their hair when they get older because it looks better. Long hair (especially very long hair) is not some- thing that every women can carry. Some women (young and old) just don't have the face for long hair. Just because all the models have long, gorgeous locks doesn't mean the rest of us mortals can carry it off. I am not so sure that marriage has anything to do with women cutting their hair. Or if entering the corporate world had anything to do with it. I'd like to hear some opinions about long hair and how becoming it is on older women. My mother has always said it has it be a very special face that can carry long hair well. That goes for young and older women, but is more so in older women. I'd like to hear from men on this since my bias on this subject is that men find long hair amazingly sexy. Is that true across the board? Won't change my mind; I've had short hair since I was 18 and don't plan on changing now at the ripe old age of 22. Sharon Badian BTL Piscataway pyuxss!sebb

When my wife and I were married, she kept her hair long untill we had our first son. At that time she cut it, saying that the baby would pull it and spit up on it an so forth. Well, it looked awfull! She tried getting a perm (it came out looking like Shirley Temple) and doing it all different kinds of ways but she fianally let it grow back out. I **love** long blonde hair and my wife is 28 but looks 17. It has done wonders for our sex life. Some women can wear long hair and some can't. I didn't pressure my wife into growing her hair back out. I feel that is the kind of decision one has to make for oneself and be comfortable with. All in all I'm glad the way things turned out. C.
