I have been asked to give a talk to a group of women in computer science at Purdue. The topic is the relative advantages of going into industry as opposed to going on to graduate school (Master's or even PhD). I do not know of any references which might contain relevant information on this topic, although I am sure that such information exists. Would anyone happen to know of some references which might be of interest? Perhaps a study done comparing male/female salary earnings for bachelor and masters degrees in CS. I'd be interested in studies comparing grad school to industry for either sex. Also of interest would be studies comparing men to women in this field. Or perhaps some of you might have an interesting story for me to tell, or suggestions to make to this group about how to make the "right" decision.
