Thank you Andy, for your acerbic and insightful comments on the distance women have to go to reach liberation, much less man. I've felt the same way myself, but have been reticent to say so. It seems marginally okay for a woman to criticise the women's movement and women's attitudes ( better if she is a feminist), but a MAN? One of their oppressors? Obviously he's hostile to feminism in the first place, so his criticism is invalid. As I've noted before, I have been told that the best way for me to help feminism is not to pretend to be a feminist, but to merely be a non-sexist male. I hope that comments like Andy's and like mine above will fulfill that expectation. Any indignant feminists (radical or otherwise) care to discuss it?
