[net.women] net.women net.men and net.women.only

The fact that we have been discussing such "male" items as circumcision points
to the fact that men do need some kind of forum to express their own concerns
as males. However their concerns (such as circumcision) are somewhat related
to those of women even if they are radically different. I think it would be a
mistake to have two separate net.women and net.men as I am sure parallel dicus-
sions would appear in both polarising issues that are actually very related.

I would like to make the following suggestion: that net.women.only be reserved
for discussions that are sure not to interest men such as comparing brassieres
or different brands of tampons, that at net.men be created for similar "male"
concerns that are sure not to interest women and that net.women be used for
every other topic dealing with societal (or biological) differences between
men and women, or about differing attitudes towards them.
All bitching about the opposite sex would occur in net.women so as to provide
equal time for the accused.
So net.men would be for men only, net.women.only for women only and net.women
for both men and women.
