[net.women] The Politics of the Womb

saquigley@watmath.UUCP (Sophie Quigley) (02/21/84)

is the title of the winter issue of Healthsharing, that I have received this
morning. I haven't finished reading it, but here are the features:
A Case for Lay Abortion. Closing the gap between the pro-choice and
	midwifery movements.
Nurturing Mothers. Medicalisation becomes the ritual of birth.
The right to grieve. two women talk about abortion (please note, all of those
who were interested in my comments about mourning and abortion)
Midwives and Healers: the Newfoundland experience.
+ a very good editorial on strength through grief about the relationship of
	post-abortion mourning and feminism
+ a few other good articles.

I read about half of it and was not disapointed. For anybody interested,
Healthsharing is a quaterly published by Women Healthsharing Inc.
