Without any doubt John Anderson has the most consistent platform in advocacy for redressing inequalities and assuring the rights of women and minorities. If you can get ahold of the National Unity Party declaration, it is quite strong in its statements. Anderson is as close to being a feminist as any presidential candidate, which does NOT mean he is just pro-women. Whether or not you consider him a viable candidate is a separate question. If he pulls as many votes as he did four years ago, they will most assuredly come out of the Democrats' votes; I can't imagine someone who would vote for Anderson would even consider Reagan. Lest it not be obvious, Reagan is the most strongly anti- feminist candidate. Patricia Collins
