to return to a topic that got endlessly hashed and re-hashed several months ago -- here's an interesting statistic (please don't yell at me if this has already been posted): "... a 1973 market study ... [found] that of the 83.6 million women over thirteen years of age in the United States, 18.7 million did not remove hair from their legs or underarms, leaving 64.9 million women who did. of the latter, a mere 15.8 million used electric razors and 2.6 million used depilatories." -- page 100, Life and Death on the Corporate Battlefield posted without interpretation by dash (...decvax!microsof!fluke!dash or fluke!dash@uw-vlsi)
