In a recent article by Shava Nerad, she quotes Sherry Mann "[all women] have a responsibility to their jobs before any responsibility to the educating of chauvinists." The [] reminded me of MAD magazine and I started to fool around with the wording of the quote. "[men] have a responsibility to their jobs before any responsibility to [insuring equality for women in the workplace]." Next: "[americans] have a responsibility to their [country] before any responsibility to [be ethical]." Next: "[soldiers] have a responsibility to their [commander] before any responsibility to [their country]." Next: "[companies] have a responsibility to their [owners] before any responsibility to [affirmative action]." Next: "[all people] have a responsibility to their jobs before any responsibility to [behave in a moral fashion]."
