[net.women] Slander

jbf@ccieng5.UUCP (Jens Bernhard Fiederer) (04/27/84)

There is not that much faith involved -- the people who can't separate the
truth from falsehood suffer for their mistakes, even if they never know it.
As an example, people who won't hire blacks restrict their labor pool.
When you arbitrarily restrict your choices, you end up having to pay more
for less.

The people who can separate the truth from falsehood -- and in cases of
slander that is usually not excessively difficult -- get on the case of
the slanderers.
