We can argue all day about the existence of inherent differences in
technical ability.  It still remains, however, that individual variation
far far exceeds any difference in the means.  The standard deviation for
humanity is huge.

If you proved to me that men, on average, were twice as smart as women
in math, there would still be a large number of women who would make
the grade even in comparison to these smarter men.  So we would want
to take advantage of it.   So let's do what we can to make more smart
people
