[net.women] The Politics of Bathrooms

One of my pet peeves is how FEW Ladies Rooms actually do have
a spot where you can change a kid or sit and nurse. Many of the
worst offenders are suburban shopping malls, which ironically have
the MOST women with small children shopping at them and some of
the smallest public bathrooms I've seen. You can barely turn around
to wash your hands, let alone deal with a baby. I've had to
resort to changing diapers on cold concrete with people having
to step over and around us -- which makes me furious at the people
who built the malls and are too cheap to allot a few extra square
feet for the convenience of some of their best customers.

There, I feel better now.
