Well, I`ve been quiet on the net for long enough - time for my two cents worth. Rich Rosen (accomplished orator that he is - and that is not a sarcastic comment) has gone on at length about bigotry, stereotyping, and choices regarding sexual preference. Although I agree with Rich on most points, I fail to see what he is trying to say. His article seems like a mere synopsis of the recent discussion: where's the subjective comment? It seems to me that Alan is 100% right. Trish said some things that were very bigoted (Trish, I`m not arguing with you-there ARE a lot of asshole men out there, but if you have had exposure only to them, I'm sorry for you. I must agree with Alan that it is very unfair to generalize and stereotype all men (or even most men - do you KNOW most men in the world?)). The point is that let's all of us steer away from unfair, stereotypical comments and try and get rid of some of the stress and strain between the sexes that this group is supposed to help do. Pardon my sentence structure it's 2:15 in the morning, Tom Twiss ...{decvax,ihnp4}!stolaf!twiss
