If you would care to consider female vs. male physiology, you will realize that most women TEND TO have smaller bladders than men. This is probably due to the fact that men lack uteruses and ovaries, poor fellows, and therefore can waste more internal space on bladders. I doubt that clothing has anything to do with it, as Western men and women often wear the same general types of clothing (tight at the waist), and if the clothing were the key, Eastern women could be shown to need to eliminate LESS often than Eastern men. Actually, women's clothing (Western women's, mostly) can and does have an indirect influence on the frequency of needing to urinate. Wearing tight jeans, leotards, nylon underwear, or pantyhose increases the likelyhood of getting a urinary tract or bladder infection, and THOSE make one need (or think one needs) to urinate EVERY 5 MINUTES!! Believe me, `cause I know. Anne Chenette ihnp4!umn-cs!digi-g!anne
