I know it's hard to ignore such remarks, but consider the
source, and also the probability that the remark was mainly
an attempt to get your attention. Sometimes obnoxious
attention-getting behaviour in children can be discouraged
by ignoring them. A more important issue here is :
doesn't this individual have anything better to do with his
time (and his employer's money) than hang around and pester
productive people? This is the issue I would raise with his
supervisor if he bothers you again.
