I will respond to individual articles (in response to my "Trish revisited"
doozy) after the downpour stops (not to mention that this machine will be
shut down in 10 minutes for the daily pack-to-pack backups). Let me just
say, in general, that one motive for my posting articles sharing a great
deal of my feelings and thoughts is the hope that they might help someone
else who is struggling with his (or her!) own feelings about MOTOS's,
relationships, etc., by pointing out what could be the source of his
difficulties, thus enabling him to deal with the disease rather than
the symptoms, and helping him get past desperation to the point of being
able to relate in a healthy manner. I hope that my own stumbling, often
difficult steps of growth can help the other stumblers who read this
group.
By the way, I suppose I should apologize that I posted my second article
to net.women as well as net.singles, but I wanted women to understand the
pathology that may underlie their mistreatment by some men. Had I known
the volume of responses that would be generated, I would have stuck to
net.singles; however, it's a good bet that many people read both (as I do),
so probably not too much damage has been done....
