[net.women] Separate Bathrooms At Work, a cause of gender discrimination?

sunny@sun.uucp (Sunny Kirsten) (09/17/84)

Greetings:

I guess you missed the discussion about toilet seats in net.singles,
from which it should be obvious that women don't want men sharing their seats,
whether they leave them up or down, just because men tend to pee on everything.
like...groady to the max...

[what kind of bathroom does the bug use?]

>What is the big difference between a woman and a man defecating or
>urinating?

Look down a man's pants. Now look down a women's pants/up a womens skirt.
Notice anything different?

>What is the "privacy" issue between having a member of the same sex in the
>next stall/urinal vs. a member of the opposite sex? It seems to me one is
>either alone or not alone.

Then we look at things a little differently.

Taking what you're suggesting to the logical next step, how would you feel
about co-ed showers for highschool gym classes? Either you're alone or not
alone.
