Was Sunny's behavior felt to be so objectionable that in the interests of politeness or whatever, you gotta leave off the author's name? Weird. I didn't think so. And anyway, I usually take the opposite attitude-- if somebody writes something which I consider to be trash, then by all means attach the author's name when quoting: it saves others from confusion if they later quote the article containing quotes from another article (&tc.).
