I apologize for the temper of many of my recent postings. The heat of several items in the past week has been a result of being frustrated and angry at reading what I believe to be ugly criticism of a friend in net.women. I apologize for allowing this anger to spill over into other unrelated net.women discussions. Please excuse me for not having posted this sooner--it took me awhile to realize the source. Ian's posting reminded me to get this done during the rush to tie up things before I leave. And it also reminds me that its too easy not to recognize when one is contributing to just that atmosphere that is creating the anger. (flames follow flames) Hope all will be able to spend their winter break or holidays in a pleasant and relaxing manner of their choice: with family and friends if this is your desire, or alone for thoughtful repose hacking on machines with hungry cpus.
