1. I doubt that any jury would convict Laurie for killing her attacker.
2. It is for this possibility that handgun control and confiscation is
opposed by the right. (it's not the only reason but it is a concern)
This would make it easier for a women to defend herself..the weapon
negates the attacker's strength.
3. It is heroicly Christian Pacifistic to accept the violation of one's
body to the point of injury or death rather than to return injury.
4. It is NOT expected of the Christian to accept it. Indeed DEADLY force
is allowed to be used to thwart the attack if non-deadly force or
evasion is not prudently possible.
5. Deadly force has been morally justified in other situations e.g.
posted areas on military installations which are of CRITICAL importance
to the defense of the country or the mission of the installation.
6. No I do NOT see a contradiction here with my anti-abortion positions.
